Welcome to the Erie County Historical Federation's Website!

We provide support to our 50+ members, by presenting speakers, technical programs, and by hosting exhibit space at the historical building at the Erie County Fair Grounds. 

Through our programming we seek to encourage the preservation of documents and artifacts by local historic societies and provide them with tools and techniques to ensure items are well documented and stored according to appropriate museum standards.  We also seek to develop programs that support historical societies in creating meaningful information for the public through tours, publications, exhibitions and involvement in community activities. 

Over the next several years we plan to increase our support to our members by providing a range of technical assistance tools, grant workshops and offer regional contact, supply and speaker information.
